"Understand your Body, you will understand the Universe"
Yes,
this is what, I heard from many people in my childhood, when I used to
ask them questions, like “why that happens?”, “how this works?”, “why
the sky is blue?” and “why so much of earth is covered by water?”.
How does the human body work?
Our
body requires water for all purposes. Actually all the human organs are
floating in the water. Our body is completely filled and controlled by
the basic element water. Water keeps all the organs lubricated and
spongy. The body has 2 important organs, which need to work in any
circumstance and these are the brain and the heart. They are like
president and vice-president of the body. So the amount of water
supplied to them should never face any crises as they are on high
priorities. There are other 2 important organs, which take care of
cleansing of the body – the kidney and the liver. These two form the
waste management system of our body. The kidney takes care of all
water-soluble waste, which is thrown out in the form of urine. The liver
handles all non water-soluble waste, which is thrown out in the form of
stool.
What happens when there is shortage of water in the body?
Some
of the organs will get less water, so body manages that by creating
histamine (swelling) in the pathway of the organs. For example, suppose
the body creates histamine in the breathing pipe to manage the water
supply, the outcome of that will be Asthma. When the doctor prescribes a
spray, it opens the path forcefully. This causes the body to create
more histamine (swelling) to manage the flow; as a result our dosage of
medicine increases over a period of time.
How can one maintain proper level of water in body?
There
are many scientists who had already done good amount of research on it.
One such person is Mr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj, who has written a book
called “Your Body's Many Cries for Water”. He cured more than 3000
people in 3yrs, only with proper drinking practice. He also says that
more than 90% of diseases can be cured only with water.
What is the best prescribed way to drink the water?
1. It is advisable to drink about 1.25 ltr of water in early morning on an empty stomach.
Stomach
has a capacity of 600 ml, which can expand upto 3 ltr. When we drink
1.25 ltr, which is double the normal capacity, on an empty stomach, so
it has only one function to perform and that is cleaning. So it quickly
passes the water to the kidney and the liver, and the water passes with a
force because of over limit. It cleans the organs while it passes
through, and moves out in form of urine. At the same time it creates
pressure on liver to move out the waste from the body, which also in
returns cleans the system. The stomach has other function; which is to
digest the food. It is advisable during this procedure to not eat
anything for atleast next 1hr, so the stomach can concentrate on the
cleaning.
2. No water intake within and after 45min of solid food intake
During
the intake of solid food, body generates few acids, which help in the
process of digestion. If we take water in between or in that period, the
acids will get diluted and it will take more time to digest.
If one is facing Blood Pressure issues, then it is advisable to drink 150 ml of water 30 mins before a shower.
If one is facing acidity or constipation, then it is advisable to take 150ml of water 30 mins before consumption of solid food.
It is always advisable to take water in small sips and slowly as it will help in generating more saliva in the body, which will help in the digestive process and will also increase the lifespan.
It is advisable to take 150ml of water before sleep, to avoid heart attack and paralysis stroke during sleep.
Who can use lukewarm water?
It
is advisable take lukewarm water for above procedures, if one wants to
loose weight. It is said that one can reduce around 5kg per month by
this procedure.
People facing Neurological disorder, Cough and any breathing related issues can also use lukewarm water.
It is advisable not to take cold water at any time.
People who are facing issues listed below, are advised NOT to use the above procedures:
1. Anyone facing kidney related issues.
2.
After drinking around 1.25 ltr of water, if there is swelling on the
face, hand and legs; headaches; water flowing from nose; or sneezing
whole day; should stop the procedure immediately.
3. Pregnant women are advisable to take only 500 ml and not 1.25 ltr of water.
